Guwahati is all set to host the International Guitar Festival. The third edition of the festival will be held on December 19 and 20.  The two day event, organised by Indian Guitar Federation, will be held at Banikanta Kakati auditorium, Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra.  The event is being organised in association with Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Guwahati and Prag News. The main attractions this time would include the likes of Vi Blau, who plays a mix of traditional styles including flamenco, popular Spanish and Latin American folklore, jazz improvisation, Hugo Gamboias and Diogo Passos, Ranajit Sengupta and Andre Krengel with Kaushik Banerjee. The festival intends to give a taste of authentic guitar music from different parts of the globe to the music lovers of Northeast. “The festival is a non-profit, non-commercial festival run entirely by volunteers.
