A moment of immense pride for the state of Assam as Sarodee Borah bagged the nomination for the prestigious “Mirchi Music Awards 2020” in the “Upcoming Female Vocalist” of the year category. This is also the first national recognition of its kind for a girl from Assam. She has been nominated for her song ‘Sapne Jo Bhi’ from the movie Jindegi Tumse  Borah’s musical journey started way back in 2009 in Mumbai as a playback singer. She trained in professional singing at the SaReGaMaPaDhaNiSa Academy by Gajendra Singh under the tutelage of stalwarts like Pt. Maniraj, Ismail Darbar, Abhijit Bhattacharya, Sucheta Bhattacharjee.
