What more would you expect on Valentine’s Day from one of Northeast India’s outstanding artistes, a torch bearer for the music industry of the region and the country? Yes! Alobo Naga from Dimapur, Nagaland is releasing a single on February 14 to mark valentine’s day in true Alobo Naga style. Titled as Kikimiye Le the song is a simple acoustic love song, in Sumi dialect. Alobo in a conversation with VibesMojo said that the song was written by Vikiyeto Noel Jimomi and recorded at Newlife Studio in Dimapur. The song is getting mixed and mastered by Jackto Wotsa. On why the song is in local Sumi dilect, he said, “Usually people sing English songs only because we don’t have much love songs in local dialect, usually local dialect songs are gospel.
