After traveling to over 50 international film festivals and grabbing eight awards in several categories, the 11-minute short film ‘Meal’ starring the internationally acclaimed actor from Assam, Adil Hussain is now available on the OTT platforms. The short film is written and directed by Abhiroop Basu, a seasoned director who has earned two consecutive selections for the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. Hussain shares the screen with Ratnabali Bhattacharjee, Arun Mukherjee, and Avishek Jain.  While giving a short take on the film to VibesMojo, Hussain stated that “It’s a breakdown of a dysfunctional lower-middle-class family caused by poverty and lack of love.” The USP of the film is the fact that it has no dialogues in it. If Hollywood has its Academy Awards, then Bollywood has its very own Filmfare Award, an award ceremony to celebrate the best in the field. This starry night of film extravaganza literally brought the stars down onto the stage. He was getting bored sitting at home. Nothing much to do he started scrolling through social media and he stumbled upon a picture of Deepika Padukone that was being trolled. He thought why not try something interesting with the picture. “I saw the picture and could instantly I thought about the banana leaf. I asked my cousin to click a picture while I held the banana leaves posing like Deepika.
