Despite three weeks of shooting, Spider-man 3 remains a circumspect secret. While fans wait to witness every element of Spider-man3, it seems like even starring in the movie itself is not has not been helpful, with Tom Holland claiming to be none the wiser.
Holland, who kept his uncharted hairstyle for the movie, is baffled by the inclusion of the multiverse of madness or it could simply be that Marvel has learnt it’s lesson from letting Holland know too much. The actor is almost infamous for his spoilers, and thus, his confusion might have come from the team keeping him in dark.
The actor claims to be certain about one thing though: the previous spider man actors Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield will not be appearing in the sequel. Holland said that the previous actors will not appear for sure unless the team has hidden the most important piece of information from him, which he thinks is too big of a secret to keep.
Holland admits Marvel may be keeping a secret from him, with the actor recently claiming that he has no clue if Maguire and Garfield would feature in the film or not. He said he would watch the film and then realise who the tennis ball was.
So far, it has been known that Holland will be lost among a sea of villains and alternate webslingers. Holland, while speaking to media, said it’s the most ambitious standalone superhero movie ever made. We sit down, read the script, and see what they’re trying to do, and they’re succeeding. It’s really impressive. And he has never seen a standalone superhero movie quite like it… he is just as excited as everyone else to see it, let alone be a part of it.
Production on Spider-Man 3 is now well underway after delays owing to the ongoing global pandemic. It has been said that Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange will join Spiderman on his latest adventure. The character is set to take on the mentor role, previously held by Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man. The Doctor Strange sequel is set to follow the Master of the Mystic Arts as he tackles the multiverse, events that will likely bleed over into Spider-Man 3.
Spider-Man 3 is now scheduled to swing into UK and US cinemas on December 17, 2021, after Marvel Cinematic Universe reshuffle.
