And that’s what our ‘New in town’ is: a guide to our favourite new food and drink experiences in Guwahati. We track new openings across the city and then visit as many as we can. Read on to find your new favourites.

Mughal Tezeeb

Mughal Tezeeb understands the significance of the cultural diversity that India is very well known for and therefore strives to maintain the essential spirit and process that goes into the preparation of a wide variety of dishes. With a Mughal-style interior, the restaurant does indeed look like a darbar. Their Biryanis – both chef special mutton and chicken – are a hit. For starters, we suggest you try out the Paneer Hariyali, Murg Kakori, Ajwaini Fish Tikka, and Afghani Tangdi. If you’re in the mood for some hearty curries and soft pieces of bread, go for Murgh Korma, Murgh Musallam, and Mutton Rezala, paired with Garlic Naan or Rumali Roti.
