Guwahati: With the winter sliding in slowly through the hills of Northeast India, four talented musicians from Nagaland are all set to host ‘Echoes 2.0: The Autumn Dream’, through which they will be performing some original music. The quartet — Jonathan Yhome, Imliakum Aier, Abdon Mech and Tokaholi Chishi — will perform at Hope Cafe and Bakery in Dimapur on October 5.
While having a brief chat with VibesMojo, Aier said: “Our motive behind Echoes 2.0 is to share little pieces of our stories through songs and to connect with our listeners. The idea is to give the audience some good music and, most importantly, to allow them to have a good time.”
On asked why they are hosting an event funded entirely by the artistes, Aier said: “Our music is centered or catered to a more intimate setting and it was difficult to get such shows. That’s why, for the simple love of original songs and a desire to share, it spurred us to come up with our own show deciding not to wait for someone else to organise a show for us.”
Brimming with their talents, these artiste are looking forward to have a great time with their upcoming gig.
